Whereas Velvet Fabric is considered to be extra soft as its a woven tufted fabric in which the cut threads are evenly distributed, with a short dense pile, giving it a distinctive soft feel. Velvet is very complex and time-consuming to produce. The production process and all its natural silk fibers are some of the reasons behind its higher price.
